products and prices

house-made pastries (cookies, madeleines, cheesecake, clafoutis, granola), prepared at the café and baked for your order. for businesses, also mini sourdough sandwiches made the morning of delivery. prices include VAT at the legal rate. photos are illustrative — appearance may vary, as is natural for artisan baking.

ordering and payment

orders are placed online with full pre-payment via Revolut (bank card). an order is only confirmed after payment. you receive a reference (EST-…) which serves as your pickup proof. some items have a minimum order quantity, shown in the shop.

pickup

pickup at the café on the day chosen at checkout, thursday to monday, during opening hours: thursday, friday and monday 8:30–15:30; saturday and sunday 9:00–16:00. the café is closed on tuesdays and wednesdays. orders must be placed at least 48 hours ahead; the shop only shows available dates.

orders not collected on the chosen day are not refunded — everything is baked specifically for your order. if something comes up, contact us before your pickup day and we will try to find a solution.

right of withdrawal

under EU consumer law (and art. 17 of Portuguese DL 24/2014), the right of withdrawal does not apply to perishable goods such as fresh pastries. if anything goes wrong with an order (our error, unavailability), contact the café — we fully refund any order we cannot serve.

allergens

our pastries contain or may contain gluten, eggs, milk, tree nuts (including walnuts) and peanuts. our savouries for businesses contain gluten and milk and may contain sesame. for detailed allergen information, contact us before ordering.

personal data

your name, mobile number and e-mail (optional) are used solely to identify your order at pickup, send your confirmation and contact you if there is a problem. the NIF (optional) is used for invoicing only. data is not shared with third parties other than the payment processor (Revolut) nor used for marketing. to exercise your GDPR rights: cafeestudantina@gmail.com. the site uses Google Analytics to count visits, only with your consent (you can decline in the notice on arrival); data is anonymised.

complaints

you may file a complaint through the Portuguese electronic complaints book (Livro de Reclamações Eletrónico) at www.livroreclamacoes.pt.

disputes

in case of a consumer dispute, you may turn to the Lisbon Consumer Conflict Arbitration Centre (www.centroarbitragemlisboa.pt) or the EU online dispute resolution platform (ec.europa.eu/consumers/odr).
